If you are converting 1% of the traffic on your site and you have 1,000 visitors a month
This means that for every 1,000 visitors you are getting 10 to your desired outcome
1% = 10
2% = 20
3% = 30
4% = 40
The numbers are just simple math and do not completely convey the importance of the conversion.
Did you know? Search Engines reward high converting sites.
If a visitor finds you in a search result and immediately returns to the search engine, i.e. not converting, then the search engine thinks you are not relevant to a particular search phrase. If you have low conversions and high bounce rates for the keywords that you are targeting then your search ranking will suffer.
